A lot of questions have been raised in regards to Beckett Grading Services questionable practices. Some include stealing cards or denying that they ruined a card when in fact they did. Also questionable grades on some cards just so they could promote their services (I believe it was the 9.5 Gem Mint Stasburg that was the big controversy in recent history). How about this though; We know we can send in cards to be bumped by half a point but what are your thoughts on this one guys. Not only was this bumped but by a total of 1.5 points in 3 DIFFERENT Categories!!! Makes me wonder if my Austin Rivers 8.5 was truly a Gem Mint 9.5. If it was a bumping job this is horrible they couldn't see it the first time around. If the buyer took it out of the case and resubmitted to me it shows major inconstancy on Beckett's part of not understanding how to grade cards and how they could not notice the same things twice around! Just my thoughts so what are yours on this matter??? BGS 9.0 MINTBGS 9.5 GEM MINT

Beckett sucks! Even though they follow a guide it's still different individuals grading so my 9 is your 9.5 or pristine. I think they should up the service, and once it's graded it's done, no re-submissions... That's a huge difference in price for that card I sent in a Profar got a 9.5 which I expected, but the auto has a small line in it and hardly noticeable, they gave it a 9? at worst it was a 9.5 but since they don't do half's on auto's they curved it down rather than up... On another note, my cousin submitted a stack of cards about 20 including some sick George Springer's at least 5 via a stand at a show. Never really tracked them and apparently they were lost??? and now Beckett is telling him he's pretty much beat! This was $1000's in cards, they said he took to long to file a claim? So what's the alternative PSA? Pretty much the same boat...
