1. Is there a chance that Redemptions will move the way of gift cards (i.e. NO EXPIRATION DATE)? How can you sell a product on a yearly basis with IOU's and then not honor them past a certain amount of time? I understand that it is a known risk when buying a retro box or into break with older products. But to me it just seems if you are going to put IOU'S/redemptions out there they should be honored or at the very least replaced no matter when they are pulled (especially for the higher end products, looking at you UD).
2. What are Panini's QC methods for collating? Are they going to updated with the rise in group breaks and the fact that whole cases are now more regularly opened at once? They seem to be the worst offenders of one case producing the same cards over and over.

1. What discussions take place as far as the amount of event-worn materials used in new products? New "game-used" inserts seem to be half a step away from manufactured patches being the norm (Five Star now has "authentic memorabilia" cards).
2. With the emerging success of resale products such as Super Break and Heroes of Sport, has any thought been put to including redemptions for autographed memorabilia and/or buyback products?

#1 - Back in the day, Pacific brand used to put points on their wrappers which you could accumulate and submit to the company for free stuff like binders and card holders. My question is why isn't there some sort of loyalty program with the companies for free stuff. It's a win/win for both sides.
#2 - Some of the most fun I've had in the hobby in recent years was with the Topps The Cards Your Mom Threw out promotion with codes in the packs for a random Topps card from the vault. After redeemed, you could trade these cards with others and cash them in at the end of the season. Even the next year with the Diamond anniversary cards was fun, but then everything went to virtual crap and nobody cared anymore. I think a program that is interactive on the internet, allows you to trade with others, and rewards you for more participation would be fun for the hobby.
#3 - It would be nice if the companies would pick one product to be there "Top tier" entry for the year and not try to make 4 different ones. Most people thought National Treasures was the top brand for basketball, but then Panini release Immaculate and Flawless to confuse matters. 10 years from now, which Kyrie Irving RC will be the 2003/04 Exquisite Lebron?
#4 In my opinion, the hobby should be grateful for the boom of the group breaks. Would it be so hard for the companies to revive the "case-topper" for sealed cases. This would be an easy way to provide a "freebie" bonus to the Chad's of the world for providing a great service to his customers.

Upper Deck -- Can you try to be more accommodating with those of us who pull expired redemptions?
Panini -- Is it possible to include more HOF players in your hockey products?
Topps -- How do you go about deciding 'equivalent value' for replacement redemptions?

1st. Can you try and get them to consider making the products with instead of a 90% rookies and 8% 2nd year guys and 2% proven HOFers to try and make their stuff more 50% or less rc's 25% current stars and 25% retired stars. And not just rc cards that are numbered to /499 /399 /299 /199 /99 /75 /49 /25 /15 /10 /5 and 10 dif 1/1's with all the same EXACT style.
2nd. If they have a Product that is TERRIBLE they can require you charge MSRP for the first 30 days so why not also if a product is very good not allow the distributors to instantly mark it up sometimes it gets marked up b4 it even goes live. At a good price a product is good for the collectors and for the hobby if they are allowed to overprice it so that its not a good deal to open it defeats the purpose.

Topps - Any chance of getting back in the Hockey game? or better yet doing a 1980 Miracle on ice set?
Panini- With the success of National Treasures baseball can we assume that will be a staple in your line and if not why would you stop producing it since it was such a good product?
Upperdeck- You've done a Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Texas college product any chance to see that extended to Michigan?

1st. can they please stop making rc cards that all look the same to /499 /399 /299 /199 /99 /49 /25 /15 /10 /5 and then 10 1/1's A little less versions and then instead of 90% rcs and 8% 2nd year guys and a couple HOFers why not more like 50% rcs 25% current stars no 2nd year cards of bad players and 25% HOF or good veterans
2nd. Can they try and make SETS that are collectable in every Product like top 50 QB's of all time or TOP 100 Players of all time they do some sets like this but not every product has cool sets to build
3rd. Maybe consider haveing a promotion where you keep the UPC Labels of all the boxes we buy and after we get say 100 box tabs we can send those in for a nice card or special box made for that purpose.

Question's:
1. Topps - Why did you make Pele auto's easier to get? Why make it so available?
2. Leaf - Great work! However, you guys seemed to have stopped with great ideas, and just are repeating your products now..before you guys seemed to bring all these unique ideas that other card companies couldn't do, I love the idea of 2014 Leaf Best of Football Unopened Edition and such, but are you guys going to start making new stuff like this with new ideas and designs?
3. Upperdeck - You guys were the best of all time back when I was a kid, but now you guys seem to be in a dumpster and your trying anything to get out, so what are you guys going to actually do to increase us to go back to you, rather to panini (meaning be at the top)?

1.What are the steps you are taking to circumvent or prevent counterfeiting? I see adding QR Barcodes as a useful tool 2. How do you plan to "Innovate for the Future" keep products fresh and not seem like every product is the same as the next?

If a product has "base" cards that are not numbered, why force the breakers to buy it when they are worthless, just in order to get things that are good. Number any card that comes from a box that cost more than $100, thats my opinion.
secondly, REDUCE the print run across the board...market is getting flooded. week after week something comes out. give the first releasing product no time to flourish

I thought of another though it is linked to redemptions,,, Why not include a pack or 2 of cards when you FINALLY mail redemptions out as a gift to the customer.. We buy products that cost hundreds of $'s every day only to pull IOU's that can take in my case over 3 years to get and even then i still got a replacement when i pulled that card it was a Kobe Patch auto to /5 prob worth $500 to $600 by the time i got it you have made Gold Standard that had TONS of kobe autos and saturated the market by the time i got the card it was a $250 $300 card I lost $200 to $300 because I redeemed it and you took 3 1/2 to get me a card!!
also if you know a guy like Julio Jones is not signing why keep putting redemptions in for his cards??

How many hockey products will UD be releasing next year as the sole license holder? Any plans on bringing back some of the great older products like UD Mask Collection and UD Portraits with the mini busts inside?
Will Panini be releasing hockey cards next year without the license the same way that In The Game has been doing for years?
Thanks! Denny

1. For Panini, will you ever bring back Elite Black Box basketball? I feel that was one of the best basketball products that was put out, please bring it back 2. For Panini, will you ever put out products similar to Pop Century, with celebrity autographs?

1) with so many high end products coming out these days (or labeled as high end by the companies), why are there still so many single color relics that are being used as "patches"? You would think that they could be put a little better so that your big hit isn't a solid white piece of number or something awful like that.
2) to the same topic as above - Topps, why do you call a piece of white jersey material in some products relics or jerseys while in other products that same jersey swatch is considered a patch? There's always been a discrepancy as to what you consider to be a patch.
3) to all the companies, what are y'all's takes on the repack boxes/companies? ie: Heroes of Sport, Sbay, and so forth?

1. What are the chances of not making so many numbered cards and keeping the ones that are more rare? 2. When is Panini going to buyout Upper Deck?

Question 6 [for Panini]: Can you please publicly release the financial data showing how much of a profit you made from 2013 Prominence FB, so I know exactly how much stuff I need to steal when I break into your headquarters in an attempt to restore karmic balance to the universe? Honestly, like a politician who gets caught taking campaign contributions from an organized crime syndicate or third-world dictator, you should really donate those ill-begotten gains to charity, issue a heartfelt public apology, and hope that we can all just forget that the whole thing happened.
On a related note, if there is a 2014 Prominence, I will be forced to give serious thought to boycotting all of your products and possibly reviving my once-promising arson career.
